New Television Studio Floor at Riverside 1

Riverside  Studios have new facilities at their historic Television and Theatrical base in Hammersmith, London.

We were selected by Riverside TV to install our Universal Studio Floor in their exciting studio complex. Studio 1 was the first studio at Riverside to receive our Universal  Studio Floor which has an average thickness of 35mm.

 Studio 1 605 sq m was completed in September 2019.

The concrete floor was prepared using vacuum contained shot-blasting to clean and key the surface.

The studio floor is designed for use as a multi camera facility with audience seating.

We project managed and installed the floor co-ordinating with Mount Anvil and our client Riverside.

The Main Contractor was Mount Anvil. To qualify to work on site, we had to meet the strict Health and Safety criteria of Mount Anvil including Critical Health Certificates for our in-house plant operators.

The installation was completed on schedule by our small team of full time employees.

Features
Fire Lanes were installed along with a grid with numerals and 0.5 metre markers.
