Following successful installations in 2006 and 2012, Hyundai chose Elgood Flooring to install our 2mm smoothing solvent free Epoxy floor.
To be in keeping with Hyundai’s facilities elsewhere, the colour of the floor was Dusty grey RAL 7037.
Installation Programme: The installation was completed in four days.
Preparation for Industrial Flooring
A combination of shot-blasting and diamond grinding were used to prepare the concrete. Diamond grinding was used to alleviate the worst of the surface profile.
Industrial Flooring system
Hyundai required a cost effective hard wearing floor coating that would lift the presentation of the Import Centre.
To match Hyundai Workshops around the UK the floor had to be RAL 7037 Dusty Grey, which Elgood were able to manufacture for this individual contract.
Elgood Industrial Flooring’s Britdura 2000 Solvent Free Epoxy Flow Coat (nominal thickness of 2mm).
