Industrial Flooring Project Scope.
Previously an industrial maintenance space, the area has been converted for training of engineers.
Our industrial floor coatings and screeds have been used successfully on site for many years.
The floor was completed in two days in our Slate Grey colour. The industrial self-smoothing Epoxy resin is applied by trowel and has a fine slip resistant finish built in. The light texture is provides sufficient purchase without inhibiting cleaning.
Elgood Flooring worked in partnership with our client to complete the installation as safely as possible having taken into account our respective Covid-19 risk assessments. Procedures included minimising our time in the main factory, wearing a face covering and using separate welfare facilities.
Preparation for Industrial Flooring
Vacuum contained diamond-grinding to clean the concrete and to achieve a physical key.
The flooring was manufactured by Elgood Industrial Flooring and the installation was completed in a single phase of two days.

Our Britdura 2000 solvent free Epoxy Flow Coat with a fine slip resistant finish in Slate Grey.
The coating was applied by trowel to ensure an even distribution of resin and finished by roller to achieve a consistent texture.
