European Springs required a hard wearing floor that would be easy to clean for their Press Shop. With the occasional spill of oil, it was important that the surface had enough texture to lend sufficient purchase without inhibiting cleaning.
The floors had been covered with interlocking tiles but these had been unsuccessful in this particular environment.
A thorough mechanical preparation was necessary, and we used shot-blasting to clean and key the concrete.
The 2mm thickness enabled us to smooth defects and provide a durable floor.
Installation Programme: one phase with a duration of three days over a weekend.
Flooring selected: Elgood Industrial Flooring’s Britdura 2000 Solvent Free Epoxy Floor Flow Coat in the colours Slate Grey and Cherry Red.
