460 square metres installed in a single phase of three days.
Having used Elgood Industrial Flooring and our Britdura range of solvent free Epoxy Floorings in 2006, Hyundai UK invited us to tender for their new Import Workshop.
The coating was manufactured, prepared and installed entirely by Elgood Industrial Flooring.
To match other Hyundai facilities the coating was the colour Dusty Grey RAL 7037.
Vacuum contained shot-blasting was used to remove the existing paint with diamond grinding to alleviate the worst of the profile.
Our Britdura 750 Solvent Free Epoxy Coating was laid in Dusty Blue.
Floor thickness of approximately 1mm applied by scratch trowel and roller with a built in fine slip resistant finish ideal for use with scrubber dryer machines.
Condition of Floors: 460 sq m lightly tamped open texture concrete with a layer of solvent based paint.
The installation was completed in four days.
Hyundai selected the Elgood Industrial Flooring’s Britdura 750 / 1000 Solvent Free Highbuild Epoxy Floor Coating which had proven to be a great success in the Preparation Workshop for over six years and continues to perform well under constant traffic and has required no maintenance other than routine cleaning.
